Here are the first photos of the newly-refurbished Cock Inn pub and restaurant in Hall Road, Rochford.

After extensive renovations, the business has re-opened under Greene King branding with a menu that offers a number of different choices to the previous Fayre & Square line-up.

Their grand opening is on Saturday 28th October, with funds being raised for Rochford’s newest celebrity Sarah Gearing and her appeal for life-saving surgery.

According to the event’s page (please share THIS as much as possible):

Please join us to celebrate our Grand Opening of our newly refurbished pub.

We are pleased to announce this day is a charity event in aid of helping a local lady called Sarah Gearing who will be our V.I.P guest cutting the ribbon.

Unfortunately Sarah is in urgent need of an operation and if she is unable to reach her target of £130,000 her illness will deteriorate and she won’t see Christmas. SurvivalSurgery4Sarah is her charity name.

The local community have been amazing and held various charity events over the last few weeks.

Sarah will cut the ribbon at approx 11.30am on Saturday 28th October.

Throughout the day we will be selling raffle tickets (£5 a strip) with prizes up for grabs that have been kindly donated by local businesses.

Prizes include a flying lesson, driving lesson, chimney sweep, fresh water window clean, clairvoyant/tarot/spiritual reads, cut & blowdry, beauty treatments, meal for 2 etc.

In the evening at 8.30pm we will have live music entertaining our guests.

Please come along and show your support, collection tins will be available for your donations.

Anyone wishing to donate or buy a raffle ticket should visit the pub.
